Mgr - Materials Management - Auto

- Purchase all raw materials, components and semi-manufactured products in the right quantity and the right time.

- Attend daily production meeting and communicate production status and flag critical issues that need additional support to the plant Director.

- Report of suppliers performance.

- Manage procurement of indirect materials,CAPEX with ontime delivery as per indent and production plan.

- Give input on innovative approaches and strategy work to regional/global LM supply management

- Actively manage inventory inline with cost and physical space requirements

- Emsure that raw materials and components are stored according to quality specifications

- Ensure physical and system stocks are aligned.

- Organise and assign workers according to tasks and manpower requirements.

- Inventory monitoring and control considering plan revisions; periodic store checks

- Ensure timely reciept of Imported Materials, including full documentation, MNRE approvals, to avoid production delays.

- Develop inbound logistics processes in line with LMPS materials management modules

- Manage Imports/Customs clearances at lowest time and cost parameters.

- Interaction with Government agencies (DFGT, Customs, MNRE) on need basis.

- Co-ordination during periodic audits by Customs,Excise.
