Position: Operations Manager (Startup & International Experience)
Location: Indore, MP, India
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Operations Manager with a proven background in startups and international operations. The ideal candidate will have experience managing teams across multiple locations, streamlining processes, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role requires strong leadership, cross-cultural communication skills, and a results-driven mindset to support the growth and scalability of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
- Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple locations, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement scalable processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with department heads to identify and resolve operational challenges.
2. Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams across diverse geographical locations.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Establish performance metrics and monitor team productivity and results.
3. International Operations:
- Coordinate and manage operations across multiple international locations, ensuring consistency and compliance with local regulations.
- Work closely with regional teams to address cultural and logistical challenges.
- Develop strategies for scaling operations in new markets.
4. Strategic Planning:
- Contribute to the development and execution of long-term business strategies.
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
- Ensure alignment of operational activities with organizational goals.
5. Process Optimization:
- Evaluate and improve existing workflows, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize resource allocation.
- Monitor and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective operations.
6. Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks to the business.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between operations and other departments, such as HR, Finance, and Marketing.
- Facilitate effective communication and alignment of goals across teams.
Qualifications:
1. Experience:
- Minimum 6-7 years of operations management experience, with a background in startups and/or international companies.
- Proven track record of managing teams across multiple locations.
- Experience scaling operations in dynamic and high-growth environments.
2. Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
3. Skills:
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in operational tools and platforms (e.g., ERP systems, project management software).
