Senior Manager - Statutory Audit
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to join our Statutory Audit team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for leading audit engagements, managing client relationships, and providing strategic guidance to our team of auditors. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality services to our clients.
Responsibilities:Audit Engagement Leadership: Lead and manage statutory audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to professional standards.
Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs, and providing proactive advice and solutions to address their challenges.
Team Supervision and Development: Provide leadership and mentorship to audit teams, overseeing their work, providing guidance on complex issues, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Technical Expertise: Stay abreast of developments in auditing standards, accounting regulations, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to effectively address client needs and challenges.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify and assess risks in audit engagements, develop risk-based audit plans, and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure the integrity of financial reporting.
Quality Assurance: Review audit work papers, financial statements, and other deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm policies and standards.
Collaboration: Collaborate with other service lines within the firm, such as tax, advisory, and consulting, to deliver integrated solutions and enhance client value.
Qualifications:- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
- Minimum of 7-9 years(Post CA) of relevant experience in statutory audit, preferably in a Chartered Accountancy firm or professional services environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage teams and build rapport with clients.
- Proven track record of managing multiple audit engagements simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and delivering high-quality work.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
