Job Title : Indirect Tax Senior Level

Job Overview :

- As an Indirect Tax Principal, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on indirect taxes to clients.

- You will be expected to manage a team of indirect tax professionals, work with clients to understand their specific needs, and develop solutions that meet those needs while ensuring compliance with local regulations.

- You will also be responsible for managing relationships with clients and providing thought leadership in the field of indirect taxation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of indirect tax professionals.

- Provide expert advice on indirect tax matters to clients, including VAT/GST, customs and excise duties, and other local taxes.

- Develop and implement indirect tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.

- Identify and resolve indirect tax issues for clients and provide support during tax audits.

- Provide guidance to clients on indirect tax compliance requirements and assist them in meeting those requirements.

- Manage relationships with clients, including attending client meetings and providing regular updates on project progress.

- Stay up-to-date with changes in indirect tax regulations and provide thought leadership in the field.

- Identify opportunities for cross-selling other services to clients.

Qualifications :

- CA professional qualification

- At least 10 years of relevant experience in indirect taxation Post CA

- Excellent knowledge of local indirect tax laws and regulations.

- Experience in managing and leading teams.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions: This is a full-time position that may require occasional overtime to meet project deadlines. The role may also involve travel to client sites or other company offices. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
