We provide critical support and business applications to the Property and Casualty Insurance industry, processing over $2.7 billion insurance premium annually for our customers on our systems and supporting their core insurance applications, infrastructure and business processes

Role: Program Manager - Onsite (Europe)

Roles and Responsibilities

Program Management

- Manage Proposal, Design and Development & Client Engagement

- Manages, with full authority, all phases of a program from inception to completion, including all projects within a larger program

- Manage day to day aspects of the project(s)/program, including cross-functional decision making, task/schedule management, issue resolution/escalation, communication, requirements management, and risk management activities

- Conduct program reviews to ensure that product elements meet the contractual and business requirements

- Perform monthly program Earned Value analysis including EAC, CPI/SPI, and negative variance

- Meet financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing a budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions

Proposal Development

- Lead work breakdown structure definition, cost estimation, risk estimation, and high-level schedule creation

- Interpret RFP requirements and lead the creation of proposal approach and content.

- Manage any scope creep through contract amendments; manage any increases in scope for an existing project or the addition of a project within a larger program working all technical, financial and contractual changes

- Determine new project(s)/program baseline after contract changes, update resource loaded schedules and earned value.

Internal Research and Development

- Manage small and agile teams to quickly and efficiently develop new technologies for project specific applications and new and emerging environments.

- Establish WBS and project management plan based on business needs for new IR&D given open scope and direction.

- Provide monthly budget, schedule, and status updates to Management for review and direction.

- Extremely good people management / stakeholder management skills

Eligibility Criteria

- Higher Secondary Schooling with BE or BTech with Post Graduation (Post Graduation preferred)

- Should have a Valid Passport

- Should be willing to travel to Europe for 6 to 9 months

- 20 to 23 years of relevant IT experience with minimum of 15 to 16 years of Program Management experience

- PMP Certification in mandatory

- Strong in Project Management with MPPS (Microsoft Project Plan) skills

- Strong in Client Engagement. Should have managed large clients in USA or Europe

- Should have handled customer facing roles (Onsite or Off Shore)

- Should have handled Pre Sales, Practice Development, Competency Building (Hiring, Training, Appraisal Process etc)

- Should have handled projects in Application Development and Maintenance

- Should have handled a team size of about 100+

- Should have technical background in Web Technologies

- Should have experience in Presales for engagement including Solutioning up to deal closure

- Should have excellent presentation skills

- Experience in Property and Casualty Insurance domain would be considered as an advantage
