About the Role:
Category Manager is responsible for setting and implementing the category growth strategy Act as the - business owner- for his or her categories, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that impact our business
In this role, you will :
- Building the category strategy and execution plan, Ideate and implement impactful GTM strategy for any new products.
- End-to-end responsibility for the customer experience and growth of the category they have been assigned to.
- Analytics: Market Research, Consumer Insights, Competitive landscape, Business Intelligence.
- Weekly and monthly tracking of category metrics to monitor goals and diving deep where needed to drive continuous improvement.
- Partnering closely with cross functional teams including the Softline's category teams, marketing, legal, finance, to deliver on goal.
For this role, we value People who have:
- Post Graduate with 2- 3 years- experience from IIM/IIT OR Graduate with 5-6 years- experience from NIT/IIT
- Solid knowledge of category management, business development principles
- High attention to detail, comfortable with - hands-on- management of tasks, and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated data-driven decision making or quantitative analysis skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skill
- Ownership and Drive- Proven skills in working with varied stakeholders across functions
