Based at Pondicherry ,Position Reports to Head - Engineering

Job Description

1. Executing ontime ship support (Product launch-DT/NB) for New Product in India plant by interacting with WWNPI,WWME, WWTE, Procurement & Manufacturing

- Through lean six sigma, handling challenges in driving execution

- Training Engineers on New Product & New Technology .

2. Responsible to Manage TE/ME Function KPI to deliver on time MTM creation, EC implementation, Ensuring max. Production uptime & Process Engineering activities - Productivity, Quality and Serviceability .

3. Develop new productivity tools in manufacturing to optimize the labour, Server & Test Tools. Also responsible to set process, standards adhering to business process to improve staff efficiency and facility utilization.

4. Continuous benchmark with Industry best practices, drive innovation through continual improvement (Cost Optimization, PFMEA, Improve Quality & Serviceability improvement) activities to create the best breed process, standards and tools .

5. Lead Strategic & LSS Projects .

6. Responsible for Zero Variance in External Audit - UL, ISO, Demko, Safety & OHS .

7. Responsible to drive 5P culture, Engineering Planning, Hardware and Soft skill training

Candidate Profile

B.E/B.Tech in ECE/EEE/CSE with 10 Yrs in Electronic Industry /computer manufacturing Industry .

1. Depth Knowledge in Electronics/Computer & it’s Working & New product Introduction knowledge.

2. Knowledge in Desktop/Notebook Introduction/Process Engineering/BOM/testing/DOS programming/networking/Windows OS internals and Test script creation

3. Knowledge in analysing issues & Highlight potential risks also find sources efficiently to solve the issues/complex

4. Trouble shooting skills in Electronics/Computer

5. Having knowledge Productivity tools like TPM and Lean Six sigma, UL/FCC/CE/OS Certification & Packing knowledge to set the standards & drive actions

6. To find sources efficiently to solve the issues/complex problem under current process of projects.

7. Hands on experience MS Office tools & having good presentation skills

CTC would be 16-17Lakhs p.a
