1. Basic Information
Unique Job Position (UJP) - Chief Manager- Demand & System Planner- Metro India Wholesales-Head Office
Reporting To - GM/DGM - Demand & System Planner - Metro India Wholesales-Head Office
Value Stream - Supply Chain Planning
Location - Bangalore, Karnataka
2. Purpose of the Role
- Establish and Run the S&OP /IBP (Integrated Business Plan)/JBP (Joint Business Plan)/OTB(Open to Buy) for all the stores for the designated category.
- Establish Demand Planning Process basis historical statistical baseline and overlay of promotions or any category intelligence to maximize on-demand /on-shelf availability with optimum stock holding.
- Collaborate /Drive Demand and Supply Integration with stakeholders to enable system driven replenishment.
- Develop Value Add Analysis to drive continuous actions and improve Forecast Performances and own national level forecast Bias and Accuracy.
- Drive and Own the System Automation w.r.t Replenishment Process.
3. Key Activities that are a part of the Role
Forecast & Improvement
- Generate-Improve-Run Forward 3-4 months Rolling statistical and base forecast performance basis historical 24-36 months of sales/stock and set the verification with the help of advanced statistical models so as continuous support in Forecast Enrichment Process.
Maintain SAP F&R System
- Maintain replenishment-oriented system master data in SAP F&R System and SAP ERP and keep regular parameter centerline to maximize ARS Score.
Statistical Analysis and Reporting
- Analyze relationship between promotional activities, new products introductions, and seasonal impact on product demand to achieve accurate forecast.
4. Listing of Activities performed by the job holder to deliver the outcomes.
- Build stakeholders engagement and able to effectively engage and influence with multiply stakeholders across product category functions and geographies w.r.t Promotional and New Products and Events and feed in forecast engine.
- Analyze Outliers/Trend to generate key insights to stakeholders and continuously make corrections.
- Conduct monthly coordination meeting (S&OP) and ensure information flows back to Supply Planners to enable forecast driven outlook and aligning vendors.
- Develop Scenario Based Planning and propose value added solutions for any differences between supply and demand and set the corrections proactively in system.
- Track all promo activities and their effectiveness related to volumes and timing accuracy.
- Enabling strong rail guards in system for any kind of Seasonal In-Out; One Time Buy; Events to Specific Time Frame so as no excessive and wrong ordering.
- Continuous periodic review the Quality of Vendor Parameter in system and review with supply planner to set the parameters correct.
- Continuous periodic review the Quality of any Min (Min Display Qty): Max (Maximum Based Qty) and review with supply planner to set this parameter correct.
- Build Statistical Reports w.r.t Demand-Supply-Stocking Pattern and Variations levels and converting to Dashboards.
- Build Trend Analysis of vendors at Supply side (like Lead Time , Min Order Value vs Month COGS vs Days) and converting to Dashboards.

6. Skill
- Experience - 8-12 years of relevant experience
- Qualification - MBA/PGD from B-School specialization in SCM process
- Industry - Retail, eCom, FMCG etc
- ERP / Analytics / MS Office - High Proficiency, SAP /Advance Excel /Power-BI /Tableu /"R" /Python etc
