Position Title : Unit Manager - PMO
Function, Responsibility Level : Unit Manager
Reports to (Responsibility Level) : AVP- Transformation Practices
Position Summary :
The Unit Manager PMO will play a critical role in the rollout of RPA and MLW initiatives in Mid Markets He will be responsible for Project and Program Governance, Data Quality & Analysis and providing support to the Lead Program Manager.
Job Responsibilities :
- Independently or as part of a larger team the Unit manager PMO will be involved in PMO- Management
- Ensuring overarching governance structure is maintained and adhered to.
- Preparing and supporting senior level communication including status updates with Sponsors, Exec Steering Committee, Project and Program team
- Project Governance - maintain updated consolidated Project Plan (Timeline & Roadmap)
- Maintain Action Item Log; Risk / Issue Log and ensure action items are followed through
- Maintain & govern SSOI (Single Source of Information) for Project & Program Documentation, Templates & Processes
- Create process documentation & look for opportunities for simplification
- Monitor project(s) progress with respect to time, cost and risks. Meetings
- Plan Agenda, capture meeting minutes & action items for Daily/weekly Team meetings
- Support running of weekly Stakeholder Engagement Check-in Meetings to get updates on latest deployments planned and in progress and update roadmap
- Support running of Bi-weekly Track lead meeting - prepare status updates ahead of meeting, take minutes, record action items and circulate recording and meeting notes.
- Prepare Bi-weekly OMM as required
- Plan and support running of monthly Steering & operating Committee meeting with Exec team
Data Quality and Analysis
- Reporting & Analytics-Analyse and report on Appropriate metrics
- Analyse and prepare Exec level Reporting -
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Education
- MBA from a reputed College in India/MBA from a reputed college globally
Experience :
- 6-8 years of global work experience in a similar role
- Good knowledge in best-in-class real-life project/program management experience in complex environments
- Proficient with project management concepts such as Scope, Communication, Financial, and Risk Management practices
- Very good communication and analytical skills, inclusive of written, verbal and listening. Customer relationship Orientation and strong teamwork
Knowledge and skills (general and technical) :
- Proficient with office automation tools (MS Office suite of applications, email, Internet, etc.)
- Highly effective communication standards through oral, written, and presentation mediums
- Experience working with Project Portfolio Management tools
- Experience working with different kind of teams
- Good ability to conduct or participate in information gathering via discussion with different clients
- Ability to continuously learn new methods and best practices
- Exposure to areas like RPA, digital, would be preferred
- Strategic thinking skills; problem solving; ability to lead change through synthesis and interpretation of data
