MetLife - TL/AM - Market & Competitive Intelligence

Summary of Responsibilities:

- The research professional will be a part of the Market and Competitive Intelligence team based in MetLife GOSC (Noida) which assists various MetLife strategy teams across the world to develop and drive the strategic agenda of the company.

- The candidate will be analytical, organized, process oriented, self-motivated and result driven.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a pre-requisite for this role, and an uncompromising approach to attention to detail. It is preferable if the candidate has a prior research background in insurance and/ or banking/ other financial services

Principal Responsibilities:

- Assist the strategy teams in conducting secondary research and draw insights for the senior managers

- Own the outcome - presents findings to stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently, with little to no supervision.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies/Qualifications Required:

- 2-4 years of related experience along with Bachelors/ Masters in Business Administration/ Masters qualification

- Fluent written and spoken English, additional languages are of advantage

- Broad application of principles, theories, and concepts in strategic thinking, plus working knowledge of the insurance and financial services fields

- Previous experience in a research function, ideally in management consulting or industry research providers

- Ability to manage, handle and prioritize multiple projects while strictly keeping to deadlines

- Energetic attitude toward learning and developing knowledge in given subject are.

- Flexible, diligent, motivated, reliable and proactive personality with good problem solving skills

- Good communication and presentation skills along with influential and collaborative nature.

- Strong PC Application Skills (MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel)

- Team oriented
