Position Summary :

CA with 1 to 2 years experience Only, fresher not being considered.

Basic Function

- The incumbent will be required for the Finance Function of the MetLife Global Operations Support Center (GOSC) in both its Vendor and Proprietary phases.

- In this capacity the role will incorporate and include all aspects of Embedded Value (EV) Reporting including, Financial Controls & Reporting, Co-ordination with Country/Regional Finance and Actuarial Teams, Planning and Analysis and Process Optimization of EV Reporting.

- Quality and productivity Improvement - as per agreed KPIs.

- Customer Satisfaction - as per agreed KPIs.

- Level of subject matter expertise - as per agreed KPIs.

Any other essential function that may occur from time to time as directed by Supervisor.

Job Responsibilities :

The role will be execution of following primary activities:

1. Co-Ordination with Regional and Country Level Finance Teams, LatAm Actuarial teams, IT Team and Production team to ensure timely and accurate EV Reporting Quarterly and Annual EV Reporting

- Optimization and Automation of Processes related to EV Reporting

- Detailed Management Reporting and Analysis of EV Reports

- Development, Implementation and Maintenance of controls for EV Reporting

- Planning and Tracking EV Reporting Calendar

2. The role will clearly be responsible to establish and maintain the highest standards of Financial and Accounting practices at GOSC while always ensuring compliance to:

- EV Reporting Practices/requirements

- US GAAP and IFRS accounting norms

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Education : CA with 1 to 2 years- experience, Must.

Experience : Must have had strong foundation in Finance functions including exposure to Reporting and Process Optimization functions with at least 1-3 years of relevant work experience

Working Relationships :

Internal Contacts (and purpose of relationship) :

- Associate accountants for monitoring performance, escalation handling, clarifying concerns, and providing feedback and support.

- Manager and AVP/VP for the purpose of settling issues left unresolved by self and monthly evaluation of performance.

- Other UMs for the purpose of seeking cooperation and best practice sharing.

- Subject Matter Expert for the purpose of work thread related issues and escalated transactions.

- QCA for the purpose of feedback and audit.

- Trainers for the purpose of Pre-process and Process training.

External Contacts (and purpose of relationship) - If Applicable :

- SME / Trainers at the client end for training.

- Client's various lines of businesses for follow-up work for closure of open items.
