- Should be willing to work in timing that significantly overlap US timings

- The role is for an internal Program Financial Analyst in a global Insurance company who will support all IT financial related aspects of strategy & transformation programs for US service line.

- This position is responsible for supporting IT Financial forecasting & creation of variance reports for Project Management Team as well as IT Financial data maintenance in the company's IT PM system.

- Works closely with the Project Managers and Financial Managers.

- Independently or as part of a larger team, the analyst will be involved in projects where he/she would

- Collect and Consolidate financials related data from various sources.

- Support in preparing financial forecast.

- Generate variance reports and other reports for Project Management team

- Maintain resource and cost plans in company's IT PM system.

- Update company's IT PM system with Project Fitness deliverables to maintain compliance.

- Generate bi-monthly reports for Project Management team

- Comply with Governance teams procedures.

Education : 

- Preferably MBA/Management Graduate in Finance from a reputed college

Experience : 

- Minimum 5-6 years of global work experience in a similar role

- Preferably experience working on large IT Portfolios with strong focus on project financial management.

- Experience of working in an IT company or function.

- IT Financial forecasting & Actuals reconciliation Experience

Knowledge and skills : 

- Strong organizational skills. Ability to collect & consolidate data from multiple sources

- Understands the IT eco-system, IT project cycle, Software development cycle, IT governance

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Especially Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)

- Strong analytical skills and the ability to collect data from multiple sources interpret and analyze to report to upper management.

- Ability to work independently and achieve deadlines.
