Digital Transformation specialist - Job Description

Metayb is an associate of Tolaram group, a multinational company based out of Singapore. Tolaram group has world class manufacturing facilities across Africa and several businesses across consumer goods, fintech and infrastructure. The group has several joint ventures with global consumer goods companies such as Kelloggs, Colgate Palmolive, Arla etc. This position is primarily for the distribution business at consumer goods division.

The Digital Transformation specialist is responsible for :

- Conceptualization and implementation of sales team effectiveness (STE) strategies for the distribution business.

- Assessment of functional requirement from the front-end teams and scouting best solutions in the market.

- End to end detailing, execution, and project management of critical projects that contribute to significant business outcomes.

- Prepare mid-term and long-term business strategy and make effective presentations to senior management.

- Coordination with cross functional teams across the business, sales teams, and software vendors to execute strategic projects.

- Manage a team of Sales analysts, monitor their performance, and guide them to excel in their career.

Mission in Supply Chain Digitalization :

- Lead the team in detailed design of initiatives, bringing in best practices and insights from internal and external sources (market, competition, and other industries) into the project design.

- Simulate scenarios, document test cases, and develop detailed documentation and specifications that are in-line with the latest developments in the market.

- Lead and implement Sales team effectiveness processes and drive change for all the branches at distribution business.

- Engage with business heads, sales heads, product managers through industry insights, presentation on projects or thought-leadership activities on sales force effectiveness.

- Build and strengthen the STE processes across the supply chain at all field levels.

- Coordinate periodic STE review meetings and ensure the requirements are acted upon on time.

- Identification, measurement of both quantitative and qualitative sales team effectiveness indicators.

- Benchmark these indicators and drive projects, set milestones to reach to the target.

- Structure and execute effective incentive planning and disbursement system/ recognition programs.

Hard Skills :

- Digital transformation in supply chain (FMCG / Pharma/ Ecommerce)

- Advanced knowledge with ERP systems (SAP)

- Advance level in Analytics such as Business Intelligence (Power BI)

- Six sigma certification is a plus

Soft Skills :

- Results oriented / Pragmatic / Team player with good communication skills

- Experience : from 4-8 years of professional experience in implementation of digital wallet, sales force automation, route optimization for FMCG/Pharma/New-tech companies.

Qualification : Masters degree (Post-graduate in Management from a top tier business school)

Location : Chennai

International Travel: 30 - 50%
