Role Overview: The Metal Manufacturing Expert Consultant is responsible for advising on strategic and operational aspects of metal manufacturing, including production footprint, performance evaluation, and expansion planning. The consultant will help guide the firm in optimizing existing operations, understanding future growth strategies, and evaluating facility capabilities. They will provide high-level insights without delving into proprietary information and assist with formulating plans for scaling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Performance Evaluation & Growth Plans:

- Offer guidance on optimizing production and achieving growth within the metal manufacturing sector.

- Advise on strategies for improving operational efficiency and performance tracking.

2. Production Footprint & Facility Overview:

- Provide insights into the current production facilities and assess operational capacity.

- Help analyze and optimize facility performance, including labor, machinery, supply chain, and technology.

3. Expansion Planning:

- Advise on strategies for facility expansion, including new technology adoption, scaling production, and identifying potential new locations.

- Offer recommendations on how to handle increased demand, resource allocation, and optimizing facility utilization.

4. Strategic Guidance:

- Offer insights on the best practices in the metal manufacturing industry, industry trends, and challenges.

- Help the company develop future expansion strategies and understand how to stay competitive in the market.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Extensive experience in metal manufacturing, including production processes (casting, forging, machining, etc.).

- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations management, supply chain, and business development in the sector.

- Ability to provide strategic, high-level advice without sharing proprietary information.

- Experience in facility management, optimization, and expansion strategies.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in a clear, actionable manner.
