Position : Consultant - Mergers & Acquisition Team

Job Responsibilities:

- Handle end to end transactional role in Merger & Acquisition from Mandate till Deal Closure.

- Manage entire gamut of pre & post-merger activities including but not limited to project evaluation appraisal, preparation of term sheet, definitive document, side letters, etc.

- Coordinate with external agency for due diligence and manage all stakeholders.

- Analysis of financial statements for risk assessment.

- Evaluation & preparation of business model.

- Preparation of valuation, projection and project reports

- Develop and manage relationships with outside parties (potential counterparties, advisors, industry resources, etc.) as necessary

- Performs market research to determine financial viability of business opportunities and performs scenario analyses

- Synthesize information and provide detailed presentations and communicate business case for senior management.

- Analysis of Balance sheet, Profit & Loss statements as well as involve in doing Company Valuations.

- Excellent exposure to structuring options for deals for private companies

- Analysis of financial/ strength & Weakness of companies and recommend target companies.

- Good network with the Indian Investment Banking community/Indian industry

Key Competencies & Skill Set

- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) & interpersonal skills.

- Good analytical and reasoning abilities

- Stake holder management & Good negotiation skills.

Education: CA/ CPA/ Master's in business accounting/ Finance or relevant field. Certificate/working knowledge of Business Analytics

Relevant Exp. : 3+ years in M&A preferably from Consulting organization/background
