Job Title: Senior Social Media Analyst

Location: Bangalore/Hybrid

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Marketing Manager/Head of Marketing

Role Overview:

The Senior Social Media Analyst will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that align with MergerWare's marketing objectives. This includes managing social media accounts, creating engaging content, planning and executing campaigns, and analyzing key metrics to ensure the effectiveness of social media activities.

What You'll Get to Do:

Social Media Management:

- Be the voice of MergerWare: Manage MergerWare's social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.

- Strategize and maintain a content calendar for all social media channels to ensure consistent and timely engagement.

- Collaborate with internal teams such as Customer/Partner Marketing, Product Marketing, and Product Managers to develop content and campaigns that resonate with the target audience.

- Drive Social Listening by actively monitoring and responding to relevant social chatter across platforms.

Content Creation:

- Create engaging, original, and visually appealing content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.

- Collaborate with design and content teams to ensure brand messaging and aesthetics remain consistent across all content formats.

Campaign Planning and Execution:

- Plan, execute, and manage social media campaigns to generate excitement and attendance for events and initiatives.

- Leverage trending topics and industry news to enhance the reach and effectiveness of campaigns.

- Lead and manage creative brand campaigns across all social media channels.

- Formulate and drive demand generation campaigns using gated MergerWare content (e.g., eBooks, webinars, case studies) to generate leads and expand reach.

Research and Analyze Industry Trends:

- Stay current with emerging social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure MergerWare remains at the forefront of online engagement.

- Use social media for competitive analysis and research to understand industry trends and competitor activities.

Analytics and Reporting:

- Track and analyze key performance metrics related to social media campaigns, audience growth, and engagement rates.

- Provide insights on campaign effectiveness and use data-driven insights to continuously refine strategies and improve future campaigns.

What You Should Have:

Must-Have:

- Experience: 2-5 years in social media management with a proven track record of growing social media platforms and driving engagement.

- Excellent communication: Strong command of written and spoken English with outstanding interpersonal skills.

- Project Management: Exceptional project management skills with the ability to handle multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.

Good-to-Have:

- Social Media Tools: Familiarity with tools like Hootsuite, HubSpot, or Sprout Social for managing and analyzing social media performance.

- Analytics & SEO: Experience with Google Analytics, SEO, and data analysis to measure social media impact.

- Design Expertise: Basic experience with design tools like Figma or Canva to create visually appealing content.

- Marketing Automation: Experience with marketing automation platforms to optimize and streamline campaigns.

- Networking Skills: Strong ability to build relationships and connect with influencers and industry professionals.

- Creative Aptitude: A willingness to experiment with new, creative ideas across different social media platforms.
