SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :

- To develop - Consumer activation- as the 3rd key pillar of Brand trials generation besides prescription & consumer ads.

- The persons will be deployed at headquarters and work with Sales team/Activation Agencies.

- These persons will carry out the different activities through activation executives and Agencies like Nerve camps, BMD, True Red Anemia detection Camps, BMD Camps, etc. in Corporates, in-Clinics, malls etc.

- They will participate in the van tours in rural markets to increase the brand awareness of the brands

- They will touch base with agencies to carry our consumer connect programs

- They will participate and put up stalls at different meals and hats to increase the brand awareness

- He will be responsible to liaison with PR agencies and get the PR coverage of the activations done for the brands and run brand specific PR campaigns with Communications team, Brand team, and PR agency.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES :

- Carry out the monthly activation targeted plans

- Weekly / monthly reporting of the activities performed.

- Work closely with the marketing team, sales team and the zonal managers for the execution of the activations.

- Spearhead the events and activations for the brand and the Merck group.

- Liaison with PR agencies to get the activations published or telecast through different media vehicles.

STRATEGIC IMPACT :

The Merck CH brands will get closure to the consumers and the brand awareness and the trial generation of the brand will increase

COOPERATION :

- Cooperation with the marketing (Brand) Teams, sales team, and the zonal managers

- Close working with the brand managers to make the activation plans an on ground reality

- Work with the PR agencies, Communications team

CANDIDATE- S PROFILE

EDUCATION

Graduate with MBA (Preferable)

Business fluent English both written and verbal is mandatory, additional local languages are an asset.

WORK EXPERIENCE :

- 7-10 Years work experience in brand activation/Trade Marketing. PR experience would be an asset, if there.

- Experience with BTL agencies will get preference, besides activations in OTC set up.

- Ability to negotiate costs, monitoring and control of activities across India
