Responsibilities:
- Set up from scratch and manage the merchants team pan India, in charge of on boarding merchants across food, groceries, medicines and other high frequency categories
- Send follow up communications, keep merchants engaged, ensure contracts are signed and build processes to keep merchants in check
- Exceed monthly team targets and all activities of revenue generation
- Manage a team of sales associates and mentor all new sales hires across cities
- Working closely with the cataloguing team and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and transparent business operation - or simply put, get things done!
- Set up merchant support across categories, build teams and ensure overall contact rates are aligned with overall business goals
- Be a great culture fit - be a sparring partner and the voice of Merchants in the organisation
Skills & Qualifications :
- 4+ years of prior work experience, preferably in the on demand food delivery space, managing merchants, sales and support
- Data-driven decision making and strong analytical thinking
- Ability to work and collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders through strong project-management and communication
- Leadership to motivate your team to take up and achieve tall business targets
- Good interpersonal skills to build and grow valuable business networks and partnerships
- SQL knowledge a plus, but not required
