Merchant Acquisition - Ecommerce (Payment Gateway)
Job Purpose: To achieve business numbers as defined by supervisor & adhere to the directions in line with the banks objectives.
Job Responsibilities(JR): 6 to 8 Areas Actionable (4-6)
New Relationship:
- To bring in NTB MEs & manage existing portfolio MEs to increase wallet share
- Achieve channel objectives through team wrt targets on ARN, DBA, Integration, Activation, Volume, OBOS & Cross sell
Portfolio & Relationship Management:
- Ensuring maximum share of volumes comes to the bank.
- Focus is to increase portfolio volume & float from Merchants to gain bank share.
- Retaining the merchants to avoid competition poaching banks merchants.
Business Compliance:
- Managing risk & compliance team and adhering their compliances for ME requirement.
- Training merchants staff i.e. Government bodies / Educational institutes on digital initiates.
Channel Management:
- Managing & engaging Channels; mainly Branch banking Work on existing CA customers & offer them digital solutions to drive CASA float & volumes.
- Introduction of products to branch staff by joining in branch huddles
- Manage customer escalations as per agreed Major actionable.
Educational Qualifications:
Key Skills:
- Graduation in Engineering or computer science.
- High confidence level, ability to manage channel within the bank
- Post-graduation in Marketing (MBA)
- Qualifications in project management related assignments
- Excellent Oral & Written communication
- Willingness to do end to end sales
- Ability to make cold calls & engage in pre-fixed appointments
- Good planner & organized working method
- To have a flair to develop interpersonal skills
- Multi-tasking with clarity of prioritization
- Sound logical, reasoning & analytical abilities
- Ability to Travel to upcountry locations
- Working understanding of MS Office
