Mercer - Group Manager - Analytics

The Group Manager - Analytics will need to identify and manage a pipeline of projects related to data analytics in alignment with the business's vision and objectives across business teams supported by the Shared Services

- Lead data analytics projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights that will guide strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities

- Implementation of appropriate data systems that lead to improved business performance and achievement of overall business goals

- To organize and assemble resources where required, identify the right technology to be used as per financial viability, set-up processes to deliver projects within timelines, creating the business case, follow through on necessary financial approvals and resources to address the current and future analytics needs of the business

- Enabling set-up and review of data structures and information systems, management, development, and integration of data analytics and business intelligence necessary for supporting the mission, vision strategies, objectives, and goals of business

- The person will work closely with leaders to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions

- Strategize and execute projects related to data analytics in alignment with the business's vision and objectives across business teams supported by the Shared Services

- Act as a subject matter expert in the designing and recommending of appropriate analytical approaches, tools and methodology in addressing key issues within the business

- Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance

Required:

- PMP Certification is desirable

- Six Sigma / Black Belt certification is desirable

- Extensive experience in business process analysis, data architecture design and development as well as the implementation of workflow enabled solutions.

- Exposure to working in market/business intelligence, strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional business experience as well as experience working with large data-sets, computing systems such as Hadoop, Teradata, Salesforce, SQL server reporting services, Tableau, analysis services, other data visualization tools
