About the Team:
- With almost 4 Lakh entrepreneurs aboard the Meesho app, we are all set to democratise internet commerce for everyone in India. Our primary responsibility, as the Business org, is to actively drive this mission from the frontlines.
As an Team Lead, you will play a huge role in driving growth across all categories. Our team holds end-to-end responsibility to launch and scale-up categories, by ensuring the right selection, competitive pricing, and conversion. Each category team has Senior Business Managers/Business Managers and a group of Assistant Business Managers, Key Account Managers, and Business Development Executives.
- Within the business team, you'll closely work with the category marketing team and other category teams. Beyond this, you will also work closely with the Product, Supplier Growth, User Growth, and Fulfillment & Experience teams.

About the Role:
- As an Team Lead operations, you will take care of our day-to-day operations, and team matrices. You will build a long-term vision for seller growth and, break it down into a plan, and align your teams objectives to the plan. You will strategize and scale Meesho's supplier by developing collaborations between your team and product, tech, fulfillment, as well as other categories in business. You will also present findings and updates to the stakeholders and other senior leaders regularly.
- Making impacts with data-backed innovative solutions is key to success in this role. You will work with multiple stakeholders and constantly brainstorm ways to improve processes to raise the bar of experiences for our users.
What you will do:
- Shape newly onboarded sellers, increase monthly transaction base, and reduce deactivation/churn.
- Connect with 3PL/ Agency, drive input/output metrics, and meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve supplier adoptions, drive daily participations for promotional
construct, and improve sellers awareness to participate in these constructs.
- Ensure daily communications reach sellers via CRM.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth process flow.
- Spearhead business process improvements to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Own operational metrics associated with processes.
- Identify points of continuous improvement to address process gaps.
- Conduct data analysis to develop insights and identify areas for improvement.
- Regularly connect with 3Ps to ensure better closure and performance alignment.
- Be available for BAU activities on weekends and holidays if required.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and conduct RCAs.
- Validate hypotheses using seller calls/visits (VoS) and data to understand seller problems.
- Own end to end operations and solve problems.
What you will need:
- 2-4 years of experience in Operations Management, Process Management, Program Management, or Team Handling.
- Strong data-driven mindset to solve problems.
- Proven ability to form business implications points of view.
- Experience with startups is an added advantage.
- Track record of defining and driving initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and creating SOPs using DOC.
- Expertise in multi-front stakeholder management.
- Experience working closely with customers/sellers, including conducting research via calls or market visits.
