- The T&S team works towards making the Meesho platform safe and secure from all kinds of frauds and abuses.
- We work extensively with data to identify newer frauds, fraudulent entities and build solutions to make the platform safer for customers/suppliers.
- Apart from data, we engage with all teams across the platform to identify vulnerabilities and build world-class systems and processes.

About the Role:
- As a Senior Manager in the Trust & Safety Team at Meesho, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our platform by identifying and mitigating user and seller fraud.
- You will lead a team focused on proactive fraud prevention and management, collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions that minimize losses and enhance user trust.
- Your expertise in fraud detection, analytical modeling, and stakeholder management will be essential in driving initiatives that protect our community.
What you will do:
Fraud Identification and Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze fraud trends affecting users and sellers on the platform.
- Identify new fraud schemes and assess their potential impact on the platform.
- Develop and implement analytical models to detect fraudulent activities effectively.
Solution Development:
- Design and execute operational solutions to address fraud-related challenges.
- Collaborate with product and tech teams to integrate proactive fraud prevention measures into platform features and processes.
- Evaluate system vulnerabilities and implement measures to close gaps in fraud detection and prevention.
Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with internal stakeholders to communicate fraud trends, solutions, and impacts on the platform.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and customer support teams to ensure comprehensive fraud management.
Rapid Response and Adaptability:
- Quickly respond to emerging fraud threats, implementing strategies to mitigate risks.
- Maintain an agile approach to fraud management, adapting processes as needed based on evolving threats.
Reporting and Metrics:
- Develop and maintain reporting frameworks to track fraud incidents, team performance, and the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and relevant stakeholders.
What you will need:
- Bachelors/ Master's degree from premium college with 5-7 years of work experience in start-ups/consumer internet companies/management consulting/operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement and reporting
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven track record of defining and driving initiatives with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in ExcelSQL experience is preferable
