About the Role :
- As a Senior Manager - Monetisation, you will work directly with team leaders to solve business critical problems.
- Youll identify key problems, set priorities, come up with solutions and drive implementation in different types of projects.
- Youll shape up the right solutions in coordination with the product team (in case your solution requires tech interventions).
- Youll also work with the team leaders to create and improve the operating systems of the team (strategic planning, competitive intelligence, building review systems, culture and so on).
What will you do :
Long term Strategy / roadmap :
- Develop and drive projects that contribute to the next 3-5 year strategic roadmap for Monetisation and specifically ads. These projects help bring outside-in perspective into the strategic planning of the vertical.
- Some of these include, but are not limited to: Building new monetization models for Meesho, Competitive strategy of advertisement platforms across emerging markets etc.
Functional strategy and implementation Projects :
- Identify and create projects to generate 10X revenue impact within Meesho.
- Own and deliver strategic projects which are structural and long-term in nature for the company.
This will involve :
- Identify projects in conjunction with the leaders of the organization.
- Structuring the problem in different parts and creating a strong hypothesis to unlock opportunity areas.
- Mobilize execution resources and see the projects till impact.
Moonshot Revenue projects :
- These projects are to create new and adjacent business models /opportunities to Meeshos core business.
- These projects will deliver the next S-curve for Meesho.
This will involve :
- Identifying new opportunity areas and revenue models.
- Opportunity sizing of various models.
- Designing and creating pilots and eventually MVPs of new revenue areas.
Team building/coaching :
- Build an outstanding team of managers and analysts in the ads business.
- Build leverage by grooming and coaching them to be future monetisation leaders at Meesho
What will you need.
- 5-10 years of experience, with 2+ years experience in startups/tech companies in similar roles (monetisation, business/ category, growth)2+ years of experience in top consulting firms is a plus.
- Strong track record in building and growing 0 to 1 business.
- Preferably candidates with MBA degree.
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
- Superior problem-solving and project management skills.
- Experience in team building, managing, and coaching will be a plus.
