About the Team:
- If you are excited about driving 10X growth for Indias only true (and profitable) e-commerce platform, then this might be the role for you.
- As part of the Meesho growth team, we drive end-to-end growth for Meesho: Awareness > Acquisition > Activation > Engagement > Retention > Resurrection. We are also the custodians of channelizing user intent in the most optimal way, which includes managing Meesho app Homepage, building Deal constructs; and also increasing repeat preference for Meesho through Sale events and Loyalty programs.
- Creative team is the engine powering each of the above workstreams. We have a diverse mix of designers, video ninjas, storytellers, content creators who work along with their business counterparts to build impactful creatives and deliver business results.
Key pods:
- Performance Marketing : Meta, Google, Play Store, etc.
- CRM : Push notifications, Whatsapp, etc.
- Branding : Sale campaigns, Surgical unlocks, Brand Identity, etc. Social Media -Instagram, YouTube, etc.
- Homepage (App, Web) & Merchandizing
- Strategic projects, e.g. grocery, AI
About the Role:
As the Sr. Creative Strategist, your role will be pivotal in developing innovative, channel specific and culturally relevant creative strategies that Meesho creates on-app and off-app. You will provide a blend creativity with strategic thinking to the to drive effective campaigns that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
What you will do:
- Translate Meesho's Mission
- Establish creative excellence for Meesho - best-in-class in India, and then the world Think 10X, Think long term - translate Meesho mission and insights to creative vision for the team. Take bold, 10X bets for long term success
- Creative Strategy: Develop and implement creative strategies that align with the brands goals and resonate with target audiences in tier 2, 3, and 4 markets.
- Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscapes to inform creative direction.
- Creative Conceptualization: Generate insight driven and innovative creative ideas that capture attention and drive engagement.
- Create compelling narratives that reflect the brands values and connect with local culture and preferences.
- Creative Briefing: Write clear and concise creative briefs that outline campaign objectives, target audience, and messaging strategies for designers and content creators.
- Ensure alignment on vision and execution across all teams involved in the campaign.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers, copywriters, and other creatives to ensure cohesive and impactful campaign execution.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops to foster a culture of creativity and collaboration.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze the performance of campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimize future initiatives.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement based on audience feedback and engagement metrics.
What you will need :
- 5+ years of experience in Creative field; preferably 1+ year as Creative Strategist; even better if you have managed on-app, CRM creatives
- Problem first mindset - build creative led solutions for business problems, in discussion with business, product, design counterparts
- People management skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
