As a key member of our newly launched Live Commerce team, you will play a pivotal role in building a robust and intelligent Creator Acquisition, Engagement, and Retention engine. The vision of our team is to enable creators/sellers/influencers to give customers an immersive, entertaining and trustworthy shopping experience through live streaming.

But we are not all work and no play - from weekly "no shop talk" team calls to board game nights, every team has its own fun rituals. As one of the core members of the Live Commerce team, you'll help build such rituals and play an intrinsic role in building the team's culture.

About the Role

As Associate Director- Creator Acq & Operations, you'll be instrumental in driving and leading the overall "Creator Supply" pod within the Live Commerce BU. The mandate of this pod is to ensure a steady supply of high-quality creators for our live streams. As a founding member of this org, this is a tremendous opportunity to work on super interesting 0-1 problems and then scale them 10X, in one of the most sought after spaces in the internet commerce world.

This person will be responsible for building the 3-sided marketplace to build the creator led commerce model within live commerce. The 3 sides of the marketplace are creators, sellers and consumers.

What you will do

- Lead the "Creator Acquisition" charter and drive overall creator acquisition strategy and therefore content-led-commerce within Meesho.

- Strategise on the logic of matching creators to the types of products being sold, seller requirements and preferences

- Effectively gather creator requirements from category/business team and content strategy team.

- Create strategies and execute to effectively reach out to and pitch to experienced live streamer sellers on Facebook and YouTube.

- Test and iterate various creator payment models (e.g. fixed payments, variable payments, salary model, etc.) to identify the right model for sustainable scalable growth

- Create strategies and execute to design and launch effective campaigns for onboarding Meesho sellers to do live streams.

- Continuously scout new creators to join the Meesho Live Commerce platform.

- Design and own an effective onboarding process for creators, including what training the creators will need.

- Build a team of Associates/Executives as part of the Creator Acquisition team (and identify the right types of profiles and talent for the same).

- Lead and manage the team of Associates/Executives on a day-to-day basis.

- Strategize, test and execute on various seller pricing and monetisation models to make

the creator-led marketplace profitable.

What you will need?

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in any discipline

- 3-5 years' of total work experience

- 2-3 years' of core operating experience in preferably an internet based startup.

- Solid knowledge in scaling and handling overall Seller/ Creator acquisition

- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills

- Superior problem-solving and project management skills

- Strong track record with proven growth in your current organization
