Meesho - Assistant Manager - Operations - IIT/NIT/BITS

We are hiring for candidates who holds experience in working with any startups/e-commerce/logistic companies and also done his/ her education from premium colleges.

Experienced in 3pl/4pl is mandatory.

1. Drive horizontal efforts to improve working capital efficiency, forecast accuracy, service quality and overall business planning effectiveness

2. Able to develop constructive and effective relationships with direct report team and cross- functional partners; able to maintain credibility and presence within the broader business.

3. Drives top-down and bottom-up recurring inventory plans with the stakeholder team using a scientific Inventory Domain expertise resulting in the development, communication, and execution of inventory plans that achieve financial goals at product categorical levels.

4. Works deeply with Supply Chain team to deliver on designs and capacities to maintain service standards prescribed from time to time in short mid and long term in an ever evolving network footprint of Meesho

5. Supports the implementation of company programs, procedures, methods and practices to promote Meesho new direction

6. Oversees training and development of employees directly and indirectly managed and makes effective staffing decisions.

7. Provides coaching, direction and leadership support to employees in order to achieve department, company and customer results.

8. Establishes and maintains visibility within the department and with Stakeholders and influencing them factually using Science of Inventory Planning

9. Monitors operational statistics, reports trends, variances and issues, and takes appropriate action.

10. Leverage expert knowledge, research to establish, implement and maintain best practices methodologies for inventory management

People who would fit the bill:

1. 2-9 years of experience including management, forecasting, replenishment, allocations.

2. Expert Knowledge of retail, merchandising and end-to-end supply chain process in a multi-channel distributed Supply Chain environment

3. Strong belief in how Technology can solve problems in scalable way and clear bias in use of systems daily

4. Needs to have knowledge of industry best practices for analytics and inventory management processes and how they support the long range inventory strategy.

6. Must be able to influence Executive Leadership through strong critical thinking and leveraging change management techniques.

7. Should Build capacity of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication, and supervision efforts.

8. Creates a strong, mutually supportive work spirit and culture where people can do their best.

9. Uses Science, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities in line with Meesho service goals

10. Fosters change in company direction effectively plans and executes changes.

11. Strong ability to perform in highly ambiguous environment with ever changing job descriptions, juggling multiple projects

12. Ability to perform without demanding clarity and hand holding is must for the Job

Qualifications

1. A B.tech/B.E degree from premium Engineering Institutes

2. 2+ years of experience across industry sectors solving problems in a management science based approach across Supply Chain and business with demonstrated business impact

3. Amazing Problem solving with strong business acumen

4. Great strategic thinker, strong communicator, and confident decision-maker that is able to partner and influence

5. Comfortable handling huge complex data sets in disparate systems and cutting edge tools to derive insights and recommendations
