Summary:


- The Senior Project Manager will lead high-performing project teams, ensuring successful execution of multiple, complex projects.

- This role involves developing team members, managing internal and external stakeholder relationships, and delivering projects within scope, timelines, and budget.

- Key responsibilities include planning, executing, and evaluating programs; maintaining comprehensive program plans; addressing project roadblocks; and ensuring adherence to best practices.

- The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent stakeholder management abilities, and a proven track record in handling complex projects.

- PMP or similar certification is preferred.


Responsibilities:

Team Leadership and People Development:

- Build and manage high-performing project teams, fostering a collaborative and motivating environment.

- Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance, training, and career development opportunities.

- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Management:

- Serve as the point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining strong, positive relationships.

- Provide weekly status reports and updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and clear communication.

- Engage with clients periodically to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring project alignment with client goals.

Program Management:


- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of various programs, ensuring they are delivered within scope, timelines, and budget.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, including milestones, deliverables, and resource allocation.

- Identify and address potential project roadblocks, creating contingency plans to mitigate risks.

Project Execution:

- Coordinate and lead multiple, scaled projects, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities among team members.

- Monitor project progress and performance, regularly updating stakeholders and promptly resolving any issues that arise.

- Ensure team of project managers are equipped to manage projects independently.

- Ensure adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and best practices throughout program execution.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate project success and areas for improvement.

- Understand and master the internal platform, report generation and client views.

- Streamline processes and improve reporting accuracy.

Client-Facing Responsibilities:


- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed expectations.

- Facilitate effective communication between clients and project teams, managing expectations and resolving any conflicts.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, preferably from the Learning and development industry.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build, manage, and develop high-performing teams.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to create effective contingency plans.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details.

Experience: 5-6 years
