- Plan, direct, or coordinate the storage or distribution operations within an organization or the activities of organizations that are engaged in storing or distributing materials or products.
- Develop or implement plans for storage and distribution activities that emphasize technological solutions for sustainability, such as investment in smart or eco-friendly containers, dynamic distribution networks, warehouse renovations, or fuel efficient fleets.
- Develop storage and distribution models that include factors such as warehouse locations, customer locations, or available transportation modes to maximize operational efficiency or sustainability.

- To ensure day to day operations of the stores functions are carried out in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
- Ensure that the stores and stocks are scrutinized by proper fire fighting systems and insurance coverage.
- Ensure safe upkeep and storage of fuels, chemicals and spares.
- To impart training to personnel operating stores on safety and handling of fire fighting appliances. - Level of stock that is maintained below the cycle stock to buffer against stock-outs.
- Percentage of safety stock used in measurement period.
Process Maintenance:
a) Maintain and protect the inventory received in the stores.
b) Maintain close liaison with purchase department to maintain minimum stocks as required for smooth business operations.
c) To maintain and co operate weigh bridges in good condition.
d) Carry out calibration of weigh bridges in the required periodicity and maintain records. Accuracy of the book inventory versus the counted inventory.

- Working knowledge of SAP and Hyperion to enable data extract and reconciliation
- Good knowledge on applicable current material transportation laws in India.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of exposure in material management process in site environment in Energy or EPC sector
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and hands on experience with systems software packages such as SAP, Tally, Thompson, or equivalent general data software.
- Experience with Enterprise resource planning ERP software.
- Experience of handling Inventory management software.
- Experience of handling Materials requirements planning logistics and supply chain software
