Meenakshi Energy - Finance Analyst

Job Purpose Summary:

- Responsible for detailed analysis of various financial data and parameters during budget preparations and predication of long term impact in the event that parameters vary.

- Demonstrates variances by production monthly variance reports determined from budget predictions.

Competencies:

Technical:

- Finance and accountancy foundation skills with experience working in the power sector

- Experience and understanding of working with modern accounting software

- Accurate forecasting and construction of budgets

- Foundation knowledge and application international financial reporting standards for financial reporting

- Foundation knowledge in the power sector understanding the fundamentals

- Significant SAP knowledge

- The ability to plan and organize work to meet deadlines and not exceed these

- Analytical skills to identify variances

- Ability to produce accurate reports

- The role requires strict adherence to company ethics policy

- Communications skills suitable to interact with all levels of management

- Computer literacy - MS Office package with strong excel skills

- Excellent organizational skills

- SMART reporting for derivative data Accuracy of predictions

- Internal communications with budget holders and line managers.

- Potentiality of external communication with banks and lenders

Qualifications And Experience:

- B.Com, MBA - Finance, CA, SAP - FI/CO

- 15 years previous experience linked to EPC & power plant financial management
