Meenakshi Energy - Cost Controller

Job Purpose Summary :

Responsible for budget control on Phase 2 construction project. Role will include oversight and reporting of financial position of project back to management. The candidate will be involved in day to day costing decisions on complex EPC contracts and will be a bridge between the construction office at site and the Finance and Treasury team at Hyderabad.

Competencies :

Technical :

- Finance and accountancy foundation skills with experience working in the power sector

- Experience and understanding of working with modern accounting software

- Accurate forecasting and construction of budgets

- Foundation knowledge in the power sector understanding the fundamentals

- Significant SAP knowledge

- Analytical skills to identify variances

- Ability to produce accurate reports

- The role requires strict adherence to company ethics policy

- Communications skills suitable to interact with all levels of management

- Computer literacy - MS Office package with strong excel skills

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work alone

- Attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications And Experience :

- B.Com, CA, SAP - FI/CO

- 10 years experience in commercial accountant/ cost control role
