Medtronic - Regional Sales Manager - Surgical Business - South/East/Bangladesh & Sri Lanka
We are currently hiring for "Regional Manager" for the Surgical business
It is Team Management Role.
Area Covering : South India, East India, Bangladesh & Sri Lanka
Job Profile :
Revenue Responsibility :
- Responsible for achieving primary and secondary AOP in terms of product units and revenue
- Prepare accurate monthly/quarterly/annual sales plan and meet the planned AOPs
- Ensure the sales teams are driving the value proposition so that the Average Selling Prices are protected, thereby delivering better margins for the products.
- Strategize to accomplish the planned target and work towards sales growth in the region and increase in market share of products.
- Responsible for forecasting the Sales trend for the future
- Maintain and expand existing business and develop new business opportunities.
Facilitate of Market development activities :
- Responsible for creation of market development plan, selection of new implanters, sites for in house training and execution of various events as per BCS norms
- Responsible for share growth and size growth initiative for his region with the help of marketing team by implementing KOL plans, therapy summits, COE initiatives etc.
- Facilitate and drive customer engagement activities, market development initiatives such as HHFA, Project Engage, Go Direct, SAM, KAM, etc. to create awareness about products and therapies
- Manage marketing expenses, spend on marketing programs for HCP
Sales Force Management and Development :
- Set targets for team members, monitor their performance, undertake quarterly performance review
- Clearly communicate performance standards and performance gaps with the team members
- Responsible for conducting the IDP/PAG discussions and identify & analyze gaps in technical and soft skills, based on the developmental needs nominate for training.
- Ensure sales force effectiveness by carrying out mediations throughout the employee life cycle in Medtronic for career growth which includes carrying out Induction, Creation of Learning pathways, FOJTs, IDP, PAG, coaching etc.
- Responsible for FOJT for team creating and following on the coaching agreement
Effective recruitment and Vacancy Management :
- Proactively take steps to manage vacancies and Recruit the right candidates in the Team
- Manage the Business of vacant territory by proper resource utilization to ensure minimal impact on business
Channel Management :
- Undertake distributor reviews in terms of understanding stock availability, daily co-ordination with distributors and monitor distributor customer relationship
- Responsible to ensure discipline, compliance, coverage and revenue achievement of distributors
- Work in synergy with Supply chain and GD team to help him/ her in motivating, training, reviewing the distributor performance timely to achieve the objectives aligned with the organizational
- Negotiation of price with Corporates to maximize profitability
KOL/Customer Management :
- Check the meeting frequency of Team with KOLs and the no. of KOLs influenced
- Would be responsible for KOL Management in terms of planning effective customer engagement programs like CMEs and RTMs as per BCS compliance and maintaining productive relationships with them
- Plan and facilitate execution of training and technical programs for Key Hospitals
- Engage non-prescribing customers, hospitals administrators, staffs to maintain productive relationship with them
Looking for sales professionals who have 10 to 15 years of experience working in surgical business (Medical devices ).
