MedsOnWay - Manager - Operations

Medsonway, an RPG Group backed venture is seeking a candidate for Supply Chain Operations with extensive experience in building and leading e-commerce supply chain operations in Pune ensuring a seamless customer experience from order placement to customer delivery. This position will be responsible for all operational areas of our e-commerce business including fulfillment (pick/pack), delivery replenishment, and store related e-commerce operations. As a senior member of the team, you will lead the day-to-day operations to continually improve order fulfillment performance and reduce costs while building the long-term strategy and capabilities for a sophisticated multi-channel fulfillment and delivery infrastructure with diverse product categories.

Job Requirements

B.Tech/MBA/Masters/Phd in Statistics/ Econometrics/ Mathematics/ Engineering / Operations Research or supply chain management

- Extensive hands-on experience of 3 years in Supply Chain/Operations analytics

- Must have very strong analytical mind, problem solving skills and good communications skills

- Passion to learn, improve and adapt Ability to work with minimal supervision and effectively with teams and stakeholders

- Familiarity with MS Excel/MS Access/SQL/VBA/SAS will be plus

- Highly motivated, discipline and able to work in team environment

- Sound knowledge of: Logistics concepts (sourcing, forecasting, planning and optimization), Turnaround Time (TAT) is required

Job Responsibilities:

- Define, architect and implement our current and future operational/supply-chain roadmap;

- Manage day-to-day operations to improve service levels, operational efficiencies, and costs

- Set up systems and processes for logistics, and then scale them up while improving the efficiency at different touch points planning to handle significant business growth and promotional fluctuations while meeting operational targets

- Develop and manage KPI s for fulfillment and delivery performance that satisfy consumer expectations, marketing requirements and financial targets while optimizing cost and speed

- Reduce delivery costs and time (from order placement to customer delivery) by improving carrier costs, optimizing and consolidating orders/routes, and implementing advanced technologies

- Suggest strategies to optimize expansion initiatives

- Monitor existing metrics, analyze data and partner with internal teams to identify process and system improvement gaps and potential opportunities

- Design and develop scalable and automated reporting solutions to enable our brand to manage the business and make effective decisions

- Analyzing process changes to see possible impacts on different metrics Skills, Abilities, and Competencies

- Oversee development of systems and processes of continuous improvement.
