ABOUT THE JOB - STRATEGIC PARTNER MANAGER
Location - Mumbai, India
Media.net is looking for leaders with strong business acumen who are excited about building a multi-million-dollar global business. This is a multi-disciplinary role where you manage the P&L and lead key business development initiatives and manage an entire vertical.
- Identify, induct and lead a crack team to expand our publisher and advertiser partner base. Build a cross-functional skill set encompassing strategy, business development, product management & marketing.
- Build relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations - senior executives, decision makers, sales influencers. Collaborate with partners to drive Media.net's strategy.
- Interact with the business and tech teams to grow the P&L effectively and exponentially.
- Mentor and develop the knowledge base and professional for existing teams. Build, execute and refine process frameworks to facilitate growth and improvement.
- Develop go-to-market and follow on strategies to support your business or vertical. You will lead creative marketing initiatives like but not limited to - direct marketing, lead generation, business conferences, and consumer marketing to deliver high ROI
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE DO YOU NEED?
- You are an experienced strategy/business development/sales professional with 6 - 8 years of industry experience in technology/advertising/media company or startup
- You have a solution driven DNA with a passion for technology, and a keen eye to identify opportunity in an ever changing landscape
- You are a self-starter with solid project management skills, who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
- You are a persuasive salesperson with a penchant for sales and marketing. You enjoy the thrill of salesmanship.
- You have sharp business acumen, negotiation skills, and immaculate communication skills.
- You have excellent project management skills, are detail oriented, and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. You are a people's person and can manage and mentor your team effectively.
- You are experienced in sales and marketing. You can think creatively and logically for all marketing aspects - strategy, research, and execution of marketing initiatives.
- You have the ability to collaborate and build relationships and influence decisions at multiple levels of an organization.
- You love large cities and travel as the role is based out of Mumbai and involves travel to our global offices and industry shows to connect with peers, partners and clients
