Media Manager - Sales - Asia / India
- Looking for passionate sales person who will work alongside the India / Asia region.
- The Media Manager (Sales Consultant) is responsible for identifying opportunities for advertising in The Magazine with new and existing clients.
- The Media Manager sells advertising space to clients by recognising good editorial opportunities and speaking to relevant stakeholders to reach their monthly sales targets.
- You will spend your days speaking with CEOs and senior executives across India / Asia region, gaining unrivalled exposure to a whole new network of game changers and decision-makers from all industries.
- An expedited career path with opportunities to progress to a Sr Media Manager role in six to twelve months based on your performance.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets
- Convert sales opportunities into campaign sales
- Meet key activity and productivity metrics
- Build and maintain strong, effective client relationships.
- Understand key decision-makers as well as influencers among clients.
- Respond promptly to customers enquiries and effectively handle any customer complaints.
- Continually pursue and develop new business opportunities.
- Attend daily/weekly sales meetings with the Regional Manager to communicate pending sales.
Required Skills:
- Fluent in English
- 2+ years of sales experience, with experience working to KPIs in a high pressure sales environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- An impressive telephone manner (interesting tonality, clear, mature sound, etc.).
- Outstanding time management and organisational skills.
- The ability to maintain the accuracy of a CRM/database by inputting data correctly and efficiently.
- A positive attitude, self-motivation and a natural persistence.
- Ability to work well autonomously and as part of a team.
- Confidence in speaking with senior executives of large international companies.
- Able to handle constructive feedback from external and internal stakeholders.
- A hunger to learn; you enjoy being mentored and constantly seek improvement and ways to develop yourself.
