The role is responsible for managing Media and Agencies procurement for Diageo India. This is a compressible cost base of over INR 200Cr and includes management of the agency ecosystem as well as managing TV, Digital and other Media buys. Besides savings delivery, the role is required work with the Marketing team to ensure target Media metrics are met. The individual will develop and maintain category and sourcing strategies to achieve the above objectives in view of market dynamics. The individual must develop a strong and compliant supplier base and periodically track, monitor and seek to improve their performance in line with Diageo Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework.
TYPICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS :
Qualification : MBA from Tier 1 or 2 college
Experience : Media or Marketing Procurement experience of around 4-5 years in FMCG or related industry
Knowledge & skills :
- Understanding of Media industry and typical operating model of the category
- Basic procurement skills (e.g. category management, sourcing, negotiations)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build good relationship with stakeholders
- Stays updated with new innovations in packaging in FMCG and related industry
