Role Overview:
- The BD Manager for Educational/International Sales is responsible for driving growth, acquiring new business, and expanding the company's footprint in educational sectors or international markets.
- The role involves identifying potential clients, building strong relationships, and ensuring successful collaboration with educational institutions, academic partners, and international stakeholders.
- The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of the education industry, international sales strategies, and customer relationship management.
Key Deliverables:
- Develop and implement business development strategies to meet and exceed sales targets in the educational and international markets.
- Identify new market opportunities, assess customer needs, and tailor solutions to fit clients within the educational sector or global markets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product development) to align offerings with market demand.
- Achieve revenue goals by developing and managing key relationships with educational institutions (schools, colleges, universities) or international clients.
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring long-term client relationships and repeat business.
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing with a focus on driving consistent revenue growth.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor analysis, and potential business opportunities within the education and international sales sectors.
- Stay informed of industry changes, technological advancements, and global sales practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders within the education and international market.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs, resolving challenges, and ensuring successful project execution.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of sales executives to achieve collective and individual sales goals.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to drive team success.
- Explore and develop opportunities for expanding into international markets, including travel to international conferences, trade shows, and potential client meetings.
- Understand international trade laws, export regulations, and market-specific requirements for educational products or services.
Qualifications & Skills Required:
- 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or international market expansion, preferably within the educational sector.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
