- Designed to build relationships and goodwill, this offering is complimentary to McKinsey's clients and senior alumni, who appreciate the Firm's reputation for great talent.

- The McKinsey Talent Network (MTN) was formally launched in North America in March of 2014, and has since expanded to additional markets including Germany, India, and EEMA. We anticipate launching in additional markets across Europe, Asia and Latam in 2016 and 2017.

Specific Activities :

- Enter data regarding new MTN candidate profiles and job descriptions into both our web-based information management tools (Professional Profile Board and Professional Opportunity Board, respectively) and our proprietary Access database

- Edit and update existing information in these same systems as necessary

- Support the current global MTN Team Analyst (based in the U.S.) with regular research, queries and reporting

- Analyze data from Excel spreadsheets to update PowerPoint slides/reportsbased on requests

- Collaborate with the global MTN team regarding ongoing process improvements to ensure accuracy and efficiency

Prerequisites :

- University degree/MBA

- 2 years of relevant experience in a corporate or professional services environment

- Excellent verbal and written language skills in English (C1 - CEFR or equivalent)

- Advanced Excel skills, knowledge of Access would be an additional asset

Preferable : Previous experience in preparing reports and managing databases

Competencies :

We are looking for the following :

- Excellent administrative and organizational skills

- Someone who is meticulous, thorough in their work, and has a love for detail

- A flair with data and spreadsheets

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels

- Ability to work effectively, stay focused under pressure, and manage urgent tasks againstaggressive timelines

- A positive, optimistic person who is service minded and who will support both team members and superiors

Structure & Relationships :

- The MTN Data Analyst/Administrator reports to the Head of McKinsey Talent Network, Annika Tycer, based in the U.S.

- Additional primary relationships will include the current global MTN Analyst, Jaime Franco, also based in the U.S., who will provide initial training and ongoing support/collaboration, and John Xavier, MTN team member in Mumbai, India.

- This role also provides daily support to MTN colleagues across the globe including Africa, Germany, Russia, the U.K. and China.

- Informal interaction with McKinsey colleagues in the local office is also encouraged to bring an in-person social element to the role.

- The MTN Data Analyst/Administrator role is a full time position, with target - standard work week and hours, i.e. Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. local time.

- However, especially in the initial few months on the job, and somewhat ongoing, the role requires flexibility to engage with the team in the evenings after 5 p.m.

- For example, in order to connect live via video-conference or tele-conference with colleagues in the U.S., it is likely there will be regular meetings scheduled for 6:30-7:30 p.m. in India, which is 8-9 a.m. U.S. eastern time. On such days, we would encourage our India colleague to shift their work day to Noon - 8 p.m. to maintain the 40 hour work week.

- The role does not require any travel, although the option to choose to travel internationally to meet in-person with global colleagues (for example, for initial training) is available with some constraints on travel budget.
