While HRPL is a McDonald’s Master Franchisee with rights to own & operate McDonald’s restaurants in India’s west and south markets, restaurants in the north & east India markets is managed by Connaught Plaza Restaurants Private Limited, a Joint Venture Partner of McDonald’s Corp.
JOB DETAILS:
Primary responsibility: The primary responsibility of a Senior Manager – Employee Relations is to design & establish frameworks which enables each & every Employee within the Restaurant & Corporate Office to conform to all applicable regulatory requirements in accordance to all applicable regulatory requirements
Key Deliverables:
1. Strategy -
Partners with Operations to assist implementation of core Statutory Compliance strategies & framework across all 3 Regions
2. Execution:
Implementation of a robust Compliance Framework
3. Communication :
Manages Internal and External communication (in partnership with Corporate Affairs & Corporate Communications) teams across Restaurants, Corporate Office & with Government Bodies at large, for the purpose of providing information & assistance / updation concerning all compliance & legal related issues
4. Design & Execution of Framework:
1. Design & execute a robust framework which will enable 100% compliance adherence,
2. Contract Labour Management & Statutory Compliance’s
3. Liasioning with Government Authorities & ensuring 100% adherence across all Restaurants.
4. To develop intelligence network amongst Restaurant Employees (through Regional McOpCo teams) in order to ensure 0% cartelism is formed/encouraged
5. Forecasting & analyzing Labour issues, in order to help HR teams & Management design & implement effective Labour Policies /Framework
6. To have prior exposure in managing Disciplinary Actions & to conduct Domestic Enquiries & having experience to handle Court Cases and/or successfully handled agitations successfully
