Consultant - ESG

Major duties and responsibilities:

- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team across a range of industries to assist companies in better understand and develop solutions to respond to the complex and evolving policy, regulatory, and business environment risks and opportunities associated with ESG/Sustainability and Decarbonization.

- Supervise and enhance the analysis of corporate activities and provide recommendations related to enhance their sustainability/ESG strategy, methods, framework, and related tools to support clients in achieving their sustainability/ ESG objectives.

- Development of sustainability/ESG programs and related reporting, such as materiality assessments, peer benchmarking, stakeholder engagement, gap analysis, metric/KPI identification (in alignment with common sustainability/ESG reporting standards such as GRI), and the preparation of reporting (internal and external) materials.

- Supervise and coach engagement teams to perform fieldwork, including data collection analysis, and work paper documentation; prepare, edit, and proofread narrative reports and presentations of observations and recommendations.

- Support team leads with client relationships, business development efforts, and drafting thought leadership, as well as internal collateral and pieces of training on sustainability and ESG topics; work closely, but independently, under the direction of Manager, Director, and Partner.

- Review of relevant sustainability data (i.e. benchmarking, trends, regulatory developments).

- Day to day management of projects, ensuring quality and liaising with internal and external stakeholders and manage budgets.

- Coach junior team members to develop new skills, monitor their performance, support their development and help manage their career growth.

- Ability to quickly learn concepts outside of your area of expertise.

Education requirements:

- Bachelor s degree in ESG/Sustainability or equivalent studies.

Understanding of the following concepts and frameworks preferred:

- Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)

- Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD)

- Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB)

- Sustainably Development Goals (SDGs)

- United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)

- Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) like ISO 1400, 45001.etc.

- Social Return on Investment (SROI) or equivalent

- Energy related standards like ISO 50001
