The role of Head Business Development primarily focuses on business generation, client servicing and retention.

Responsible to : Vivek Arora ( Managing Director)

Hours : 8:30 am - 5:30 pm

Location : Huaz Khas, South Delhi

Educational Qualifications : Post Graduate

Main duties of the post :

- Business generation (new business & leveraging existing client relationships for up-sell and cross-sell)

- Build company profile and brand image in the market through sustained campaigns

- Market intelligence activities for the sector; identify clients and needs

- Strategize effectively to create new customers on a continuous basis

- Meet with business targets set for the accounting year on a monthly basis and ensure a steady booking of orders throughout the year.

- Leading, managing client relationships and continuously monitor customer satisfaction.

- Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships through regular close contact/ visits/ face time / skype / telephone/ video chats.

- Manage the entire process from initial contact with a client to administering the project, ensuring all logistical needs have been met within a suitable timeframe and high levels of accuracy

- Produce monthly and quarterly status reports for each client.

- Being the main point of contact between clients, MLA client consultants and the office.

- You will effectively interact with other colleagues, briefing them fully on marketing and business development campaigns as well as being briefed on projects of similar nature.

- Manage the CRM systems and sales process to keep track on enquiries and sales and ensure no opportunities are missed.

Other key responsibilities:

- Supervising the activities of logistics team and ensuring that booking forms/contracts are signed and returned in a timely fashion.

- Coordinating events to ensure project is managed in a timely fashion.

- Contribution to sales proposals where required.

- Being available to clients, consultants where required.

- Developing your team members.

- Ensuring accurate, current details of clients are kept on the database

- Responding to requests from the Client Director and Consultants in an efficient and timely manner.

Knowledge and Experience required :

- Experience of managing accounts and relationships for multiple clients

- A good understanding of what it takes to maintain and develop the most productive client relationships

Skills required :

- Excellent organisational and time management skills

- Ability to create and maintain accurate / accessible and organised documentation

- Ability to manage events

- Excellent report-writing, analytical and project management skills

- Ability to manage the logistical process for complex clients and projects

Functional Competencies required :

- Hands on approach to problem solving; identifying issues and using initiative and available resources to generate solutions

- An ability to identify a client's key business objectives

- Ability to present bespoke proposals (with support from senior managers) that meet client needs

- Strong motivation and a positive approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities

- Ability to cope with conflicting demands and to prioritise tasks

- A positive attitude to dealing with people

Competencies to develop while in the role :

- In-depth product and service knowledge- All maynardleigh solutions including executive coaching and Interactive theater

- Able to identify and convert upsell and cross-sell opportunities

- Share knowledge and proactively look to develop procedures to improve efficiency

- Ability to identify issues and propose solutions before the client brings them to our attention
