Designation - Senior Manager - Procurement

Location - Gurgaon

Key Responsibilities :

Sourcing

- Handle around 5 – 6 categories including all outsourcing contracts with total spend of approx 70 – 80 Cr for year 2013 – 2014

Key categories are

Operations –( Policy acquisition / processing & policy servicing )

Employee Development & Welfare

HR services

Professional Services

Strategic Sourcing implementation

- Responsible for execution of procurement initiatives including adaption of procurement initiatives with internal customers / stakeholders

Task

- Develop transition plan for suppliers

- Set up meetings with appropriate departments and lead the discussions

- Present CBA and Saving to stakeholders

Procurement relationship management

- Perform Ongoing relationship management

Task

- Serve as single point of contact between user , procurement and supplier for the categories handled

- Ensure regular meetings and reviews with key stakeholders

Leadership and Supervision

- Mentoring and coaching of buyers to adapt a new skill sets of contract negotiation / closure and phasing out of the role as transaction processors

Task

- Lead key initiatives

- Assigning work and monitoring work schedules

- Screen applications and submit / recommends the same to procurement head

Primary Interactions:-

1) External - Vendors. Nature of interaction includes- Supplier selection, negotiations, evaluation and management.

2) Internal - Internal customers/business groups

Qualification - must have

- Engineering / MBA ( regular stream)

Experience

- 9 to 10 years of work experience and at least 3 - 4 years in services industry procurement.
Mandatory experience of driving supplier selection, negotiations, purchase order management, contracts negotiation, supplier management.
