Designation - Manager - Product Manager (Governance)

Location - Gurgaon

Preference - Female candidate with Insurance Background

JOB SUMMARY:

- Responsible for reviewing and filing of IRDA documentation - ensuring consistency, comprehensiveness of information and adherence to guidelines

- Accountable for Operational Readiness of Day 2 tracker (systems) for new and existing products

- Managing Product Help by replying to queries raised by the field team and HO ops team and product related complaints/ escalations, conduct new product training sessions for Operations team

- Process owner for all Product related items in all of Max Life’s Website, Portals and includes Maxters

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Ensure consistency check for all product documents including sales literature, policy contract and any other IRDA related correspondence.

- Ensure a clear articulation of the asks from systems and processes for system set ups and understanding perspective for Day 1 and 2. Diligently understand system and process requirements and maintain the OR note.

- Ensure a log of issues on system is maintained and tracked (for enhancements and gaps) through Operational Readiness Tracker. Ensure this tracker is reviewed on a monthly basis and presented to PARC on a quarterly basis.

- Ensure alignment on IT release calendar towards ensuring that Day 1, 2 system requirements are met

- Single Point of Contact, responsible for tracking all correspondence including product filing and other queries with the IRDA

- Single Point of Contact for all audit related items for the Product Management Group

- Engage with cross functional teams and closure of system requirements

- Publish product help dashboard to concerned stakeholders

- Leverage on maters to generate product related idea

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

- Capturing of all system requirements as per the OR note - monthly tracking and quarterly review with the PARC.

- Efficient delivery of functional specs for system requirements before the due date and escalation to relevant stakeholders

- Satisfactory closure of IRDA queries within acceptable TATs

- Response to all queries raised at Product Help within prescribed TAT

- Uploading of all documents/ information on Customer website and Maxters as per calendar

MINIMUM EDUCATION:

Graduate / MBA

MINIMUM/SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:

Total experience of 3-5 years in the financial services, in operations / underwriting / Information Technology related to Product development. Specific experience in Product / Portfolio management will be an advantage
