Job Summary

To be the conscience keeper for the organization (leadership) through a hawk’s eye on execution. Connect the dots from all the strategic initiatives that are taking shape across the organisation and provide the leadership with

- Progress updates and escalations of missed opportunities and deadlines

- Cross pollinate the opportunities to cross learn and provide a seasoned business perspective.

- Challenge the status quo to being in fresh thinking, sharp accountability and bottom-line orientation

- Information in a coherent story-board to update the shareholders and the board

Key Responsibilites:

- Maintaining and updating the governance framework,

- Monitoring compliance with requirements in framework,

- Coordinating cross functional council meetings

- Prepare and support communications for Board meetings

- Establishing and maintaining a record of operational procedures manuals and escalated items for all cross functional council’s operation

- Monitoring specific business processes, Analyzing monthly reports to provide meaningful insights to the leadership team.

- Facilitating the flow of information to managers, board members and committees.

- Liaising with Shareholders to fulfill their requests for information while acting as a “single point of contact”

- Managing a team of a couple of people to create impeccable outputs for presentations to the board and CEO’s interface with the outside world

- Liase with consultants working on different projects and ensure adherence to scope and timelines of projects.

Minimum Specific Experience:

- Management Graduates with 8-10 years (or more) of experience

- Experience in more than one roles in the insurance business will be of added advantage
