Max Life Insurance - Vice President - Product Engineering

The VP of Product Engineering will define the strategic direction & implementation of Max Life's Digital Asset spanning all customer touchpoints across the enterprise and drive its implementation with stakeholders (internal & external). This role will own the customer experience for all digital touch points / assets. The ask for the role is to create best in class digital journeys for the customers which ensures instant gratification, disintermediation and emotional connect through superior design thinking and world class UX. Leading the UX practice creating world class journeys will be a big part of this role. This position is also responsible for leading external development teams to execute on the product roadmap and to manage the product through its entire life cycle in order to increase Discoverability, Engagement, and Transactions. The VP of product engineering must have good understanding of tech stack and basic architecture principals.

- Business acumen, organizational assessment, creativity, interpersonal skills, and quantitative analytical abilities.

- Must be able to understand a target audience's needs and other motivating factors, and translate them into concepts for compelling interactions and experiences

- Must be a strong communicator and be comfortable interacting with a diverse group of technical and non-technical people including senior executives, sales, marketing, development, operations and business partners.

- Great at understanding business priorities and ability to prioritise & invest effort.

- Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve product strategy based on research, data and industry trends

- Ability to sense & articulate of customer responsiveness, and UX design sensitivity along with proven record of having built great customer experiences

Experience :

- At least 10+ years- experience in an e-commerce or internet organization in a product management or equivalent role.

- 12-15 years of total experience
