Head - Rural Channel(Life Insurance) - Max Life Insurance

Position Head : Rural - YBL Relationship No. of Positions 1

Department : Bancassurance Function Bancassurance YBL Rurban - Sales

Reporting to : National Sales Head Band 3

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Will head the entire Rurban span of YBL Channel. Will be responsible for the YBL partnership in the specified rural areas.

- Create and maintain engagement with regional managers' /branch managers and other key Yes Bank Head Office / Management Team members

- Lead a team of Sales Executives (Relationship Associates and Associate Sales Managers and Centre Managers) and monitor their input/output activity and ensure lead generation through various sources

- Develop measures and dashboards to measure the effectiveness of the relationship

- Increasing insurance awareness and product penetration among Yes Bank's customers. Increasing insurance penetration among Yes Bank staff members

- Suggest sizzlers and R&R platforms for Yes Bank's employees who provide prospect leads as well as for MAX LIFE's dedicated sales team

- Suggest product synergies and capture Yes Bank's various customer touch-points for insurance sales opportunities

- Partner with Regional Teams of Yes Bank to achieve the defined business targets. Conduct monthly reviews and provide strategic and tactical support to the team as required with partner in order to ensure that the relationship has the requisite capability to deliver business strategies and goals

- Review performance and develop fresh guidelines based on learning's in order to assist the teams in meeting targets within stipulated profitability norms.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS:

- To increase the channel contribution in the overall revenue

- Improve current seller activation levels

- Adj MFYP vs. Plan

- Partnership review scores / measures

- Productivity & Quality measures (Case Rate, Case Size, Activation, Product Mix & Persistency etc.)

- New product sales vs the objective

Sales process Adherence:

- Customer centricity and satisfaction:

Key competencies/skills required: Relationship Management, Leading people, Effective Management of Process

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

- MBA with 15 - 18 years of relevant business experience in sales with a minimum of 10 yrs combined work experience in the fields of Life insurance sales management, Rural bank distribution, and Channel Management and/or DSA relationship.

- In-depth understanding of IRDAI & other applicable regulations

- Good understanding of financial tools / complexities

- Strong relationship, networking & negotiation skills

- Working with and through others

- Understanding of business dynamics.
