Job summary:

As a Cloud Architect and Migration Delivery Manager, you are part of Enterprise Architecture team focusing on driving the core foundation transformation and improving delivery effectiveness of these programmes. You will be responsible for delivering end-to-end multi-year cloud migration and data platform modernization projects cloud platforms e.g. AWS, Azure, AWS Datalake with seamless integrations across multiple customer facing digital assets, back-end systems and external sources. You bring deep technical expertise in designing and delivering end to end high performance, scalable, secure & flexible multi cloud services and platforms.

Key responsibilities:

- Experienced in leading cloud migration programmes with highest levels of proficiency in defining migration methodology, approach and requirements to execute the work related to Pre-migration, Migration and Post-migration activities - MLI on premise app / infra to AWS / Azure cloud

- Define design patterns and cloud architecture blueprint for platforms in scope of migration

- Ensure implementation of MLI applications on cloud, align to MLI standards across environments and the incumbent partners adhere to the same across the project lifecycle

- Identify cross functional dependencies, engage in discussion with business, application, infrastructure services, PMO, solution architecture, Testing CoE, EPD teams involved in the Migration Process to ensure alignment to the project plan

- Ability to execute the migrations using standardized/cloud native tools

- Responsible for conducting services reviews (Monthly/ weekly/ quarterly) with senior leadership Responsible for Client deliverables, and delivery Service Level Agreements.

- Be able to govern multiple projects/tracks and be the face to customer for delivery escalations and improvements

- Build a knowledge ecosystem to manage the 24x7 support with effective program management

- Ensure Smooth handover to support teams post migration

Other responsibilities:

- Provide technical expertise in solving/troubleshooting performance & other non-functional requirements

- Experiment, explore and demonstrate application of new technologies by means of conducting quick prototypes to solve business problems

- Focus on continuous service improvement and thought leadership, drive strategic initiatives to help business and partners to achieve their goals

- Optimize the cloud infra spend and define cost control mechanisms by suggesting architectural changes & optimizing resource utilization

- Cloud migration on time and on cost as per MLI's cloud strategy

- Meet the enterprise level cloud adoption KPIs

- Exceptional user(internal/external) experience, automation and operational efficiency by adoption of new cutting edge technology solutions to solve business problems

- Trusted partnership with other departments of IT and business

Key competencies/skills required:

- Deep understanding of the cloud architecture and migration lifecycle

- Experience in various functions of cloud operations, transition with migrations life cycle

- Experience in managing teams in multi/hybrid cloud environments

- Good exposure on Devops/Agile method of project implementation

- Extensive experience in areas of cloud native lake technologies e.g. AWS Native Lake Solution

- Possess strong, effective interpersonal and negotiation skills and able to communicate effectively with business and IT stakeholders and program team members at all levels of the organization.

- Should have knowledge on several areas like On-prem DC Infra, Public Cloud, Databases, Backup, Security

- Thorough knowledge in handling ticketing tools, monitoring tools, backup tools

- Good experience on Virtualization/High Availability & Networking

Desired qualifications and experience :

- 12 + years of Delivery / program, Management experience in implementing, supporting and migrating Data Center, public cloud/ hybrid cloud environment

- 8 + years of designing solution and technical architectures

- 5+ years of experience in applications migration to cloud i.e. AWS, Azure etc.

- Professional Cloud Architect or Cloud Developer certification from AWS/Azure

- Experience on implementing Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity solutions

- Experience in implementing Infrastructure for Enterprise Solutions.
