Role Assistant Vice President - Product Engineering

PE role is an amalgamation of Digital Product Management and Technology roles so that the individual gets to grow, learn and contribute in both the pillars of product.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Partner with Senior business define the Product Roadmap to meet the Functional strategy objectives. Ensure requirements are within our business standards and guidelines and align to our digital strategy and vision.
- Ensure that delivery of product features and roadmap is done within timeliness committed to business
- Constantly benchmark the product features and platform to come up with industry-first initiatives both in technology space and business impacting
- Understand the current ecosystem & apply design thinking to develop product/platform to provide seamless Omni-channel experience for customer onboarding
- Align with architecture teams to ensure that architectural roadmap supports the platform roadmap
- Ensure that engineering best practices along with agile and continuous development methodologies are followed in right spirit
- Work closely with the UX teams in brainstorming for the most efficient UX and most relevant and contemporary UI
- Listen to users/customers to improve the user experience and eliminate any friction in the journey
- Lead scrum teams to ensure that KPI of Schedule, quality and Scope are met
- Create/Participate in product/Platform strategy for 2 years
- Ensure 100% adoption of Automation testing and develops engineering
- Involved in creating a prototype and ensuring that product is tested for technical robustness
- Communicate, collaborate and negotiate with key stakeholders (business groups, control groups etc.)
- Building an adoption strategy of Digital solutions and driving adoption across business teams by running analytics, sending out periodic updates on the progres and guide team for implementation of the same.
- Work with operations and technical teams to research and resolve production issues. Clarify ambiguities and customer experience based on business requirements and product objectives.
- Will be responsible for managing the Information Security and Compliance risks for the product
Key competencies/skills required :
- 12 to 15 years of experience in one or a combination of the following: digital customer experience, digital product/Platform management, digital platforms, or digital consulting
- Experience in product management/development, program management, strategy, marketing and/or related position in a consumer-oriented, technology-dependent environment in financial services or related industries
- Should have experience in managing large teams with a mix of product management and Engineering
- Should have experience of implementation end to end platforms for a value chain
- Should have worked on Agile Methodologies with exposure to tools like Jira etc
- Should have good understanding of latest technology and tools available in market. Also, should be able to apply tech knowledge in day to day interaction with internal as well as eternal
- Should have worked on content management systems and handled products with technologies like React.JS, SOA APIs and integrations with Core systems.
- Should have strategic bent of mind, and some exposure to digital tools
- Marketing and research experience will be good to have
- Experience on managing B2B customer onboarding portfolio will be an added advantage
