JOB SUMMARY :


- Role is to support the implementation of policy and process to build an effective operational risk framework, raise level of BCP preparedness, evangelize data security controls within the company. Drive projects and initiatives identified by Enterprise Risk team for successful closure with stakeholders in first line especially operations.


- The incumbent shall work with various functional leaders within the operational group to enhance the operational risk and compliance maturity as well as facilitate fast track development of company-wide initiatives initiated by ERM team


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :


- Deliver ongoing operational risk assurance and conduct RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment) for relevant departments


- Drive initiatives across multiple themes initiated by enterprise risk such as Business continuity, Data security and other improvement frameworks


- Support on delivering on-going program of Thematic Reviews of processes and business areas. Widen Ops Risk assessments to include Customer Experience and Reputation risk aspects


- Enhance Operational Risk Maturity People, Process, System


- Support design and communication of risk policies and procedures across business


- Support Enterprise risk function on tracking and evaluating root cause, as well as overseeing remedial action for Operational Risk Events & Issues


- Monitoring of ongoing actions recorded on Risk Events and Issues


- Drive Operational Risk Group and support working groups for Compliance, Outsourced Vendor Approvals and Management Risk committee


- Promoting Risk culture to enhance self-disclosures on incidents and deeper integration with Fulfilment teams and support in training Control Ambassadors


- Support the ERM team with internal risk governance by making sure that first line submissions for corrective/preventive mechanisms engender leadership confidence.

Desired qualification and experience :


- Master of Business Administration or Equivalent Degree with 10-15 years of experience in relevant field


- Prior experience in Operational risk management and mitigation or in Business Strategy with focus in operations


- Work experience on data security and privacy programs will be a plus


- Detailed knowledge of general tools and techniques of risk management, along with sound understanding of operational processes in financial industry is desirable
