Web Insights Expert
Digital Analytics team at Max Life Insurance is seeking a Web Insights Expert. As an Insights expert, he/she will work on all MLI digital channels - Web, Mobile & others. Work as a member of a cross-functional team that supports various digital analytics initiatives to contribute in the Max Life Digital journey. The expert will be responsible for digging into various types of data, deep-dives to identify areas of contention and delivering actionable recommendations. The expert will be seen as someone who brings the data to life through storytelling and data visualization. This role will report directly to the Chief Manager/ Senior Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze large volumes of cross-channel customer data (Web, Mobile, Transactional & Other) to gain insights and identify opportunities for improvement
- Regular interaction with product, marketing, and/or customer experience teams to understand business hypotheses & synthesize data into actionable recommendations
- Communicate data findings through engaging stories that are easy to understand
- Partner closely with teams such as Product, Marketing and Operations and support/address respective analytics need
- Support reporting and dashboarding efforts that measure established KPIs pre and post digital enhancements
- Build and support custom datasets within Google Analytics for ad-hoc analysis in a fast paced environment
- Develop and document data collection, implementation & reporting standards for any new development efforts/site functions
- Provide consistent updates on the status of progress/issues, risks and concerns to digital analytics management
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- 2+ years of business/data analysis experience required, preferably in a financial reporting environment with an emphasis on digital/customer analytics
- 2+ years experience with Qliksense, Tableau, MS PowerBI and/or other BI tools
- Experience in Google Analytics and similar product suite is mandatory
- Knowledge of SAS/ R/ Python is desirable
- Experience with D3.js will be an added advantage
- Experience in transforming qualitative and quantitative data into actionable recommendations and KPIs
- Understanding of social media trends and changes in the digital products/services space
- Proficient in use of standard Microsoft software - MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio
