The purpose of the Marketing Planning Manager is to develop differentiated customer propositions which are insight driven and commercially focused. The incumbent would be expected to lead brand planning as well as customer experience related initiatives
The incumbent should have exposure in :
- Proposition development
- Brand planning
- Understanding of customer insights with a focus on qualitative research and customer experience
- Experience in media planning, budgeting will be desirable
- Project Management
Key Accountabilities :
- Lead the innovations work stream to develop differentiated consumer propositions for brand and digital campaigns and retention campaigns for existing customers
- Utilize customer and business insights data to generate meaningful insights
- Support in conceptualizing and developing annual and long term marketing plans
- Liase with media agency to prepare media plans for marketing campaigns
- Lead Quarterly reviews of marketing plans and manage annual and quarterly budgets
- Ensure that we are fully assessing and designing the customer experience as part of NPD process and that TCF(Treat Customers Fairly) guidelines are proactively adhered to by ensuring that fair treatment of customers is central to all that you do
- Supporting all customer experience related initiatives
- Own customer contact strategy and liase with creative agencies to develop relevant propositions and creatives for the same
Qualifications & Experience :
- Post Graduate in Marketing or Communications with 5-7 years of experience, preferably in an agency brand planning role
- Experience in brand and integrated market planning, qualitative research a must. Project management skills and exposure to digital marketing will be added advantages
Competencies :
- Ability to identify and understand, analyze and interpret a range of customer, brand, competitor and market data
- Use customer insights to develop compelling propositions and agency briefs
- Excellent project management skills with good planning and organizational abilities, including excellent time management skills.
- Superior communication skills along with the tact and maturity to interact with senior leaders
- Ability to work seamlessly across functions
- Strong inter-personal skills with a challenging and persuasive manner, to win and maintain the respect of colleagues across the business at all levels.
